When I dare to be powerful, to use my strength

I am afraid.

Event Highlights
The
Growth Guild
This month’s topic was “Being Behind the Scenes”, presented
by Theresa A. Martinez of ASAP Solutions. It was a nice, informal session in
a roundtable atmosphere. Everyone was able to provide comments, ask questions,
& give feedback as Theresa presented. See the article below for tips from
the speaker.
Once the topic concluded, we went over the NVAS survey that was sent out. We had a fantastic response to the survey, thank you to everyone who participated! We appreciate your input. Please keep an eye out for new features, events, & more.
If you were unable to attend the meeting, we hope to see you at the next one!
The
Gathering
This month’s mixer was held on April 24th at Aunt Chilada’s
at South Mountain. If you were able to attended, we thank you... we know how
difficult it was to find a parking space.
We had a special guest join us, Karen Niles, an Independent Beauty Consultant with Mary Kay. She gave out free samples to the ladies & gentlemen who attended. She also spoke to us about color cosmetics. If you would like more information on Karen, you can find it at http://www.karenniles.com.
If you weren't able to attend, we hope to see you in the future!

Some attendees enjoying networking, great food, & beverages!

Viruses
Computer viruses can be a menace. There are ways to deal with the dreaded
enemies. Panda Antivirus Titanium deals with viruses without prompts or updates.
Once you logged onto your computer, you can view documents knowing that they
have already been checked and viruses have been eliminated.
It automatically activates with most email clients, scanning attached files, Internet, & embedded objects. Titanium blocks all possible entry points of a virus. It is available at www.pandasecurity.com or 818-543-6901 for approximately $24.
New Technology
Iomega® HotBurn® is the quickest and easiest
way to create custom music CDs, data CDs and CD labels. Iomega HotBurn also
allows PC users the ease of drag-and-drop copying directly to CD-RW media.
Iomega HotBurn software's unique and intuitive interface allows the user to quickly and easily create CDs, removing the unnecessary complexity associated with other CD creation applications. You can create a music or data CD in two steps, just add the files and burn. It shouldn't be harder than that. With one step CD duplication, a fully featured CD label editor and drag-and-drop burning capabilities, Iomega HotBurn is the only CD burning software you will need.
For information about Iomega HotBurn software, please visit the Iomega HotBurn Web page at http://www.iomega.com/iom_software/hotburn_main.html or 888-4-IOMEGA. It retails for approximately $29.
