Marketing for All Seasons |
By Tiffany Washko, Constellations Virtual Services Group Are you experiencing a lull in your business activity? Why not use the extra time you have available to step up your marketing campaign. Good marketing strategy is a necessity for business growth and contrary to popular thought; it doesn't have to be difficult or expensive. Here are a few easy marketing activities that will give you something to do in your down time and encourage more business activity. 1. Break out your contact lists or old networking leads. Review them and make contact with those whom you haven't spoken to in awhile. Perhaps they did not show interest in your products or services before, but circumstances can and do change. Send them a brief postcard or email. Let them know you are still around. 2. Do something special for your referrals sources. If a client recently referred business to you, send a special thank you gift. Consider a gift basket or gourmet treat. A very affordable and delicious gift opportunity is available through Fairytale Brownies. Go to www.brownies.com for more details. Fairytale Brownies and many other specialty gift shops offer corporate accounts for frequent buyers, thus making it even easier to make an impact without breaking the bank. A small investment may lead to more referrals. 3. Offer a deal or promotion. Send out postcards or emails and update your website to reflect a special offer. Perhaps you could offer a 20% discount or a free trial. Many times you can create an immediate response by creating urgency in the form of a deadline. Use phrases such as "limited time offer" and "for a short time only". If you have any questions, you may contact Tiffany at info@constellationsgrp.com. |
